Since the playful, laid-back concept opened just over a year ago, Dunwoody locals have crowned it the unofficial headquarters of happy hour, game day and weekend brunch. From musical bingo to live music to football games on the big screen, you’ll almost always find a theme party drawing locals to the cleverly designed courtyard and indoor-outdoor bar. This Thanksgiving, BAR{n} is offering “Thanksgiving To Go”.
The restaurant’s regular menu is an avant garde spin on familiar Southern standbys, and the holiday menu is on theme. Order your turkey brined or smoked and prepare your palate for something new with their black pepper and bourbon gravy. Choose from a collection of sides that includes something for everyone, from mac and cheese and classic cornbread stuffing to braised greens and Southern style green beans. Breadwinner Café & Bakery
Lunch or dinner at Breadwinner Café & Bakery gives you that warm fuzzy feeling that someone you love prepared a special homemade meal just for you. The cheerful neighborhood cafè is known for fresh fare and a depth of flavor that keeps regulars coming back for more. In addition to a bustling dining room, it’s home to a busy catering operation. When it comes to preparing a Thanksgiving meal to go, Breadwinner has it down to a science. When you order online, you can even choose your pickup time slot! Easy and delicious is a winning combination for holiday entertaining, and that’s what Breadwinner brings to the table.
Make their oven roasted turkey the centerpiece of your holiday meal, and sit back as the compliments roll in. Brined for three days and oven roasted, it’s sure to be a memorable part of your tradition. The menu also includes almond crusted grilled salmon along with a variety of sides. Narrowing down the delectable dishes to a few favorites is a daunting task, so don’t forget you’ll want leftovers! The traditional sausage dressing and sweet potato casserole are so scrumptious you may be asked for the recipe. Pro tip: you can also add your favorite soups and salads from the regular menu to your holiday order.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar
Gather your family around the table to make holiday memories at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar. The Dunwoody classic steakhouse will be serving a three-course menu of holiday favorites including lobster bisque, herb roasted turkey breast, prime rib bone-in ribeye and petite filet mignon. Shareable sides include mashed potatoes, green beans and cranberry sauce. To complete your meal, try the carrot cake drizzled with caramel or a slice of harvest cheesecake with cinnamon orange cranberry sauce, pumpkin cream & candied walnuts.

Joey D’s Oak Room
Go ahead, order something from the top shelf. Joey D’s Oak Room is known for having the most photo worthy bar in Dunwoody and a request that your bartender step up the ladder to access an unusual spirit is part of the fun of visiting this longtime local favorite! Since the restaurant will be open from 11:00am until 8:00pm on Thanksgiving, choose to dine in or preorder your holiday meal to go in advance.
The Thanksgiving menu will feature fall favorites including oven roasted turkey breast, sugar cured ham, sweet potato casserole, haricots verts and roasted carrots, mashed potatoes, southern herb stuffing, homemade gravy, cranberry relish, cornbread, pecan or pumpkin pie. Guests will also have the option to order some favorites from the standard menu, including the beloved she crab soup and hand-cut steaks. Reservations and preorders can be made via the restaurant’s website.
McKendrick’s
Don your holiday finest and dine like movie stars at McKendrick’s Steak House. The restaurant has set a high bar for fine dining in Dunwoody since it opened in 1995, drawing visiting celebrities and food critics alike. Thanksgiving is no exception; McKendrick’s will be open from 11:00am – 9:00pm offering its regular dinner menu along with a special holiday menu featuring roasted turkey, prime rib, gravy and stuffing.
Sip a timeless McKendrick’s Manhattan or select a celebratory wine with help from the expert staff. McKendricks’ has been awarded the Wine Spectator’s “Award of Excellence” consecutively since 1997, so wine connoisseurs are in good hands.
