The Dunwoody Nature Center is proud to announce the return of Free First Saturday programs again in 2019! Just like last year, we will present a family-friendly, engaging program based on a special theme on the first Saturday of the month.

August's Theme: BUTTERFLIES

Learn all about the intricate and amazing life cycle of a butterfly with “A Butterfly Tale” in the meadow. See live specimens of eggs, caterpillars and chrysalises up close. Enjoy a puppet show to see how a butterfly grows from just a tiny egg. A few lucky volunteers may even have the chance to “transform” themselves!

This event will be held outside in the meadow/stage area of the park. No RSVP or registration. First come, first serve. Family friendly. No dogs, please.
