While the Nature Center usually closes at sundown, on select nights visitors will have the rare chance to connect with nature after-hours allowing for a completely different sensory experience.
Under the light of the stars and armed with flashlights, Nature Center educators will guide groups through the hike, offering a chance to hear the nighttime sounds of owls, bats, and other nocturnal creatures as well as the gentle flow of Wildcat Creek.
Gather around the fireplace before and after your hike to enjoy hot chocolate and a warm fire! Learn more and RSVP at http://dunwoodynature.org/free-friday-night-hikes/. These popular and FREE hikes are fun for the entire family and sponsored by Northside Hospital Healthcare System!
To ensure that we have enough staff (and hot chocolate!) for all our hikers, please let us know you are coming here.
