Dunwoody Nature Center: Seeking volunteers to help preserve and maintain 22 acres of woods and trails through various outdoor projects including: planting of 20 trees near the entrance on Roberts Drive, invasive plant removal (i.e. weed pulling, wisteria root removal), and trail maintenance (i.e. lining trails with mulch and tree branches). Click here and select MLK Day of Service from the Volunteer Day drop-down menu

Spruill Center for the Arts: Seeking group of 20 to come out and help paint the remainder of the plaza. Email Amy Gresens to reserve your spot.

**Registration starts on January 1, 2021 for these 2 Day of Service projects:

The Daffodil Project: Help us plant 5,000 daffodil bulbs in Brook Run Park. The Daffodil Project aspires to build a worldwide Living Holocaust Memorial by planting 1.5 million Daffodils in memory of the children who perished in the Holocaust and in support for children suffering in humanitarian crises in the world today. Click here to register.

Trees Atlanta: Make a difference and celebrate MLK Day by planting new trees in Brook Run Park! We'll be adding new trees close to the new multi-use fields. These trees will provide cleaner air, cool shade, and all around improved habitat for humans and wildlife living in our community. Planting tasks include digging holes with shovels/mattocks, untangling roots with your hands, mulching, watering, and cleaning up your area. Click here to register
