The Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild
The longest continuously running arts organization in Georgia, the Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild has a mission to promote and preserve weaving and other fiber related arts. They do this through education, programs and outreach to the community. The Guild maintains over 140 members representing a range of skill levels from novice to master level weavers. The guild provides new learners with all of the equipment necessary to learn how to weave through their classes held at the North DeKalb Cultural Arts Center. Monthly meetings and some classes are being held via Zoom.

Create Dunwoody

CREATE Dunwoody
The mission of CREATE Dunwoody is to work in partnership with the City of Dunwoody, as well as other public and private stakeholders, to establish public art in the city and to encourage the creative exploration of the arts. CREATE Dunwoody was founded out of the Arts and Culture Master Plan that was adopted by City Council in October 2018. The purpose of the organization is to leverage and promote the arts to increase the quality of life among those who live, work, and play in Dunwoody.

Dunwoody Fine Art Association
The Dunwoody Fine Art Association in a non-profit organization who aims to promote fine art in Dunwoody, GA, encourage artists to exhibit their art, and support each other in their creativity and self-expression through lectures, critiques, workshops, and exhibits.

Dunwoody Homeowners Association
The purpose of the Dunwoody Homeowners Association is to promote the recreation, health, safety, welfare, benefit and enjoyment of the homeowners within the community. The Association strives to ensure that Dunwoody is preserved principally for high quality residential use.

Nature Center Logo


Dunwoody Nature Center
A non-profit organization providing environmental education and outreach programs, visitors can enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the park or sign up for special classes and events. The park is open daily from sunrise to sundown, free of charge. Explore wetlands, a teepee, hiking trails, and the woodland playground all before visiting the hammock garden to relax before you leave.

Founded in 1995, the Dunwoody Preservation Trust is committed to the preservation of the history and heritage of the Dunwoody community.  A volunteer, non-profit organization, the DPT works to educate the community of our city’s rich past and to identify and preserve its historic buildings and cemeteries.

Dunwoody Woman's Club
The Dunwoody Woman’s Club has been a part of the Dunwoody area since 1971.  The club is a service organization of women comprised of various skills and abilities that came together to help shape Dunwoody and the surrounding community and were the driving force behind the formation of the Dunwoody Nature CenterSpruill Center for the ArtsStage Door Players, and the First Fourth of July Parade.  The club uses funds from fundraising to fulfill the club’s commitment of service through various programs in the areas of Arts and Culture, Civic Engagement and Outreach, Education and Libraries, Environment, and Health and Wellness.  The club’s projects help strengthen our surrounding community and beyond.

Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta
One hundred years ago, Jews with vastly fewer resources than today built a Jewish Community Center in Atlanta. With little more than their passion for a better life, they built a safe, secure, and vibrant community center for their families and for all of the Jewish Atlanta families who followed. The MJCCA has always given the community a place to gather and connect with friends and family through meaningful programs and much-needed services.

Spruill Gallery
The Spruill Gallery, located in an historic 1867-1905 home on Ashford Dunwoody Road, mounts four to six exhibitions each year in a variety of mediums. The Gallery’s exhibits promote emerging artists, established artists and the artwork created at the Education Center. Year-round, the Spruill Gallery has one of the best locally-made artists’ gift shops in metro Atlanta.
