“I wanted to start a business that serviced everyone. Where Hispanic, Latinos and Black people felt welcome and where all other ethnicities felt pampered and properly serviced as well. I worked for a Hispanic company for 12 years , when I finally decided to take the leap and start my own business six years ago. I promised myself it would be a business where everyone, no matter their skin or background, felt appreciated. I wanted to find a way to thank life for everything it has given me and serving my community was the best way for me to start. My business has made me all around better—as a human, as a professional, as a mom, as a friend and my community has contributed to that as well. I am very active in the community and supporting my small business allows me to continue to contribute and support others.”

The city of Dunwoody hosted the annual Latino Hispanic Heritage celebration at Ashford Lane September 17, 2023. Lisa Torres represented her business and heritage with a few games, sharing smiles and laughter with her community. This event was full of joy as guests immersed themselves in Hispanic food, art, music and dance showcases.
