Our annual Lemonade Days event celebrates the spirit of community and family every spring at a carnival-like weekend festival with fun-filled games, rides and activities for kids. The occasion includes a fundraiser, and all proceeds go to educational programs like History Alive! and continuing historic preservation of Dunwoody’s early buildings and cemeteries. Read More

This event is held annually on Mother’s Day weekend, transforming the Dunwoody Village Parkway into a whimsical art gallery featuring the works of local, regional and national artists. Close to 60,000 people attend the annual Dunwoody Art Festival find those perfect art pieces to display in their homes or give to friends. The Dunwoody Art Festival is a family-friendly event complete with a Kidz Zone play area with imaginative arts and crafts. Read More

Each summer, Dunwoody, GA, celebrates its annual Restaurant Revamp Month, during which visitors are encouraged to sample food and drink from some of the best restaurants in the Atlanta area, including small cafes, big-name chains and everything in between. June 1-30, we invite you show your support of all Dunwoody restaurants and to follow along as we dish out deals, giveaways, must taste plates, and foodie inspiration during this season of delicious dining and restaurant re-building. Date: July 5, 2021
Dunwoody is home to Georgia's largest 4th of July parade. Every year, this annual procession draws together a stream of marching bands, floats, animals and local celebrities. The Dunwoody 4th of July Parade attracts more than 2,500 participants and 32,000 spectators and is followed by a post-parade festival at Dunwoody Village with live entertainment, kids' activities, barbecue and more. The one-of-a-kind Butterfly Festival takes place in late summer every year at the Dunwoody Nature Center, rain or shine. This outdoor family favorite features two enormous tents full of colorful butterflies, a Birds of Prey show and a reptile showcase. Read More

Apple Cider Days is a month long celebration of the fall season featuring weekly family events that are both educational and fun. Events include a twilight tour, outdoor music festival, trick or treating, and more! Every November, kick off the holiday season at Light Up Dunwoody. The event includes seasonal music, vendors, gifts and refreshments and ends with the annual lighting of the tree and menorah in Dunwoody Village. Food and fun are two things we take very seriously here in Dunwoody. That’s why we devote an entire day to both during the spring and summer months. Food Truck Thursdays take place every Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Brook Run Park from April through October. There’s always live music, a wide variety of Atlanta’s best food trucks, and a crowd of hungry people who love to have fun. Bring an appetite and your favorite lawn chair (along with the neighbor, the dog, and the kids) for a weekly good time! Read More

The Dunwoody Nature Center is excited to be bringing back the popular concerts in the park series brought to you by the City of Dunwoody featuring an all new line up of up and coming bands that will keep the meadow jamming. Every other Saturday starting at 7:00 PM, bring your chair, blanket, and picnic dinner and cool off with a rotating selection of craft beers hand picked for the night by Moondog Growlers. Read More.

On the first Sunday of every month, car enthusiasts from everywhere assemble at Perimeter Mall for the largest monthly car show in the nation. This nationally recognized show regularly draws over 2,500 vintage, muscle, high performance, and exotic cars while also attracting over 10,000 spectators. The people who attend this show are just as interesting as the cars themselves, making this a truly unique social event. Read More
