Recently, I had the pleasure of staying at Le Meridien in Dunwoody, and it was nothing short of an amazing experience. Dunwoody is easily accessible from Atlanta via MARTA (our rapid transit system) or a short drive. Dunwoody has so much to offer and it’s super simple to explore the area. There are tons of attractions within walking distance of the hotels in the area.
I chose Le Meridien as it’s located near one of my absolute favorite malls- Perimeter Mall. The hotel is also located near Ashford Lane, and there are a variety of restaurants, all easily reachable on foot from most hotels. Dunwoody is such a lovely area and I always enjoy my time in town.
From the moment I arrived at Le Meridien, I was greeted with smiles and a lovely ambiance. Whether you’re planning a weekend escape or a longer vacation, Le Meridien offers a great blend of luxury, comfort, and style that will make your stay unforgettable.
The Room
A Luxury High Rise
I stayed in a King Suite that happened to be located on the 11th floor with such an amazing window view that I just cannot forget. The suite was super spacious and felt like I was staying in a luxury high rise apartment overlooking the city. The suite was decorated beautifully, and the living room area was the perfect place to kick your feet up and watch your favorite shows. I love that the room also included such great amenities and luxury self-care products. It’s such a relief being able to travel and know that you’ll be provided with everything that you could need.
The Amenities
Outdoor Pool and Fitness Area
One of the highlights of my stay was the beautiful outdoor pool. The pool was surrounded by greenery and there were even these beautiful cabanas that you could lay under, it’s the perfect spot to unwind. Whether you’re taking a quick dip or lounging with a good book, the pool area is truly designed for relaxation. I’m also someone who likes to stay active while traveling, and Le Meridien’s so I really appreciated there being an onsite that catered to all fitness levels. I appreciated the variety of equipment available, which made it easy to keep up with my workout routine.
Dining Experiences
The Longitude Bar and Portico Restaurant
The Longitude Bar is a chic and sophisticated spot to enjoy a variety of cocktails, wines, and delicious bites. The bartenders were super skilled, and I was impressed by their ability to craft such unforgettable cocktails. So, whether you’re in the mood for a great cocktail or something more adventurous, the Longitude Bar has you covered.
One of the most exciting parts of my stay was dining at Portico. As a food + travel content creator with a focus on dining experiences, I was thrilled to be among the first to try their new menu. Let me tell you, everyone is in for real treat! The chefs at Portico have crafted a menu that is sophisticated and chic and leaves you wanting more after each bite. The presentation was outstanding, and each dish was absolutely delicious. So, if you’re looking for a great meal, Portico is a must-visit and I highly recommend trying the Burrata + Peaches for a great starter. The Lemon Mustard Chicken happened to be my favorite main course dish and I can’t wait for others to enjoy it just as much.
My stay at Le Meridien in Dunwoody was truly unforgettable. The combination of luxurious amenities, amazing service, and incredible dining options made it a stay to remember. If you’re in town for business or just to have a great time, Le Meridien offers an experience that’s truly enjoyable.
