2. Spring Equinox Yoga in the Park
Date: March 20, 2025
Location: Dunwoody Nature Center
Welcome the arrival of spring with a peaceful sunset yoga session at Dunwoody Nature Center. As the Spring Equinox brings balance between day and night, this gentle, full-body flow led by yoga instructor Jesse Hughes will help you ground yourself in nature and rejuvenate your body and mind. All levels are welcome, so bring your yoga mat and embrace the season of renewal.

3. Daffodil Dash
Race Fees: $15 for children ten and under, $25 for adults. $30 to register on race day.
Date: March 30, 2025
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Location: Brook Run Park
Join the Dunwoody Community for the 2025 Daffodil Dash to run for a cause! Participate in either a 5k or 1k walk or run to commemorate the 1.5 million children who passed during the holocaust and support children facing genocide and other humanitarian crisis in the world today. This event raises awareness and funds for holocaust education and genocide awareness, with proceeds benefitting Am Yisrael Chai!, a nonprofit Holocaust Education and Awareness organization, as well as the “Kids for Kids”, “Raising South Sudan” and “Agahozo Shalom”, organizations helping children and families in remote villages in Darfur, South Sudan and Rwanda. The race also supports the Atlanta Holocaust Survivor fund, providing medical, dental and home care for Holocaust survivors. Busy on March 30? You can participate virtually, running or walking from anywhere, from March 7 to March 30.
Prizes will be offered for the following winners:

2) Overall Male and Female Masters 5K
3) Most miles CHALLENGE (from March 7-March 30)
4) Overall Male and Female 5K Virtual
5) Largest team award
6) Top team fundraiser award

8) Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners by age group

5. Folktale Festival
Date: March 22, 2025
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Location: Dunwoody Nature Center
Cost: Free for children ages three and under, $15 for adults
Experience the magic of storytelling at the Folktale Festival, a captivating one-day event at Dunwoody Nature Center. Enjoy immersive folktales from local and regional storytellers, explore arts and crafts, and visit the interactive farmyard. Discover delicious food and art from local vendors and artisans while you explore nature. This family-friendly festival is a celebration of cultural heritage and the natural environment.
