Due to safety concerns around COVID-19, the afternoon celebration leading to the holiday lighting of Dunwoody Village has been suspended.
We will not close the year without our traditional lighting! The Christmas tree and Menorah will occupy their regular place across from the Cheek-Spruill Farmhouse. The lights will ill still come on at 6 PM the Sunday before Thanksgiving to open the holiday season! Families are welcome to come after the lighting to take photos.
A special video presentation and live lighting will stream on Facebook at 5:30 PM on November 22. Watch at www.facebook.com/TheDHA
Celebrate holiday cheer with us at the annual Light Up Dunwoody festival sponsored by the Dunwoody Preservation Trust, Dunwoody Crier, and the Dunwoody Homeowner's Association!
Starting at 3:00 p.m. the Light Up Dunwoody Christmas Village at the historic Cheek-Spruill Farmhouse will open with wonderful holiday treasures and refreshments.
Santa will welcome children to sit on his lap, and a Santa sleigh complete with live reindeer will be on site for adorable photo opportunities. Be sure to bring your own camera!
This festival is open to all with no cost to attend! The event will conclude with the magical lighting of the tree and menorah at 5:45 p.m.
