Star-Spangled July 3rd Open House

Start Independence Day weekend in style with the Star-Spangled July 3rd Open House at the Donaldson- Bannister Farm. With retro red, white, and blue décor throughout the venue, attendees will be transported back to a bygone era and can take a flavorful, surprising journey through barbecue traditions that illuminate Georgia’s social, cultural, and civic history.

At 11 am, join us for a special “Red, White, and ’Cue: Georgia History Through Barbecue” presentation by James “Trae” Welborn III, Associate Professor of History, Georgia College & State University. The BBQ expert will take us on a flavorful and surprising journey through barbecue traditions that illuminate Georgia’s social, cultural, and civic history.

LifeSouth will host a Red, White, and Blue Blood Drive from 9 am to 3 pm.
