Group Tours
We’ve never met a group tour we didn’t like, and we’re pretty sure if you asked any of the thousands of groups that have visited Dunwoody over the years, they’d say the feeling is mutual.
If your group is looking to explore Atlanta or the Metro Atlanta region, Dunwoody is ready to host you. Use this page to get to know us a bit, and how we can help you make the most of your Atlanta group tour.
Stay Here
Dunwoody boasts ten motor-coach friendly Atlanta area hotels at all budget levels. Choose from options like the high-end Le Meridien hotel or crowd-pleasing favorites like Hampton Inn & Suites and Sonesta ES Suites.
Play There
Thanks to Dunwoody’s close proximity to Atlanta, we’re typically within a 30-minute drive to most of Metro Atlanta’s notable museums, shopping districts, parks, and more. Swing through the World of Coca-Cola, CNN Headquarters, or the College Football Hall of Fame, or splurge on a shopping spree at Ponce City Market. Check out our Atlanta Attractions page for more ideas on where to bring your group.
Looking for something more local? Dunwoody favorites like Perimeter Mall, the second-largest mall in the South, will please the shopping fiends in your group, while outdoor vendors like Treetop Quest will elevate any group gathering (literally).
Feel like rolling the dice? Then choose one of our planned itineraries and treat your group to an outing that’s a little outside the box.
Accessibility
If you plan on hopping around a bit, get your group connected with CityPass to save both money and time. Contact us to learn how to get your team or driver connected with passes for the extent of your stay.
Location / Getting Here
Getting to Dunwoody is a synch thanks to our access to four interstate and intrastate highways. If you’re driving in from the west, we suggest taking I-75 and then hopping onto I-285; from the south, use highway 19; from the east or the north, take highways 140 or 141.
To get in and out of Atlanta, we suggest using either I-75 (connecting to I-285) or I-85 (connecting to GA-400) and conferring with your preferred GPS system for traffic updates.
