Disney continued to reclaim its Thanksgiving glory at the box office this year as Zootopia 2 broke myriad records. True, Thanksgiving is only a holiday here in the states, but this movie rang up big around the world. Here’s a rundown:

Highest global animated opening of all time (current rates) at $556M ahead of China’s Ne Zha 2 ($431.22M)
4th highest global opening of all-time (actual reported) – Disney owns 3 of the top 4– after Avengers: Endgame ($1.2 billion), Avengers: Infinity War ($640.5M), and Spider-Man: No Way Home ($600.5M).
