Discover Dunwoody’s Vibrant Nightlife: Unbeatable Eateries and Trendy Bars Await
When you’re cruising for a night out but don’t want to go all the way into the big city, Dunwoody’s got you covered!
This small city, 10 miles outside of Atlanta, is known for its restaurant offerings. You’ll find unique drinks and an unbeatable atmosphere at spots ranging from cozy to chic:
Where to snag a meal and an activity in Dunwoody
At Eclipse Di Luna, prime entertainment’s on order right alongside Bacardi mojitos and white peach sangria. Drop in, and you’ll likely find a live Latin band or a flamenco guitarist playing. Learn something new with the free weekly salsa lessons. And with a tapas menu that includes fondiodo con camarones (shrimp and bacon oozing with a Tetilla cheese spread atop warm bread) and tacos de chamorro (pork shank braised in tomatillo chipotle), you won’t leave hungry!

And back on the tavern kick, visit England — if only for the night — at the Dunwoody Tavern. This is one of the oldest pubs in metro Atlanta, and its cozy feel — aided by a double-sided fireplace — has made it iconic. A close relation to the King George in that they’re owned by the same group, this pub-style restaurant offers virtually the same menu. So, use this opportunity to experience the items you didn’t try at King George: the spicy patty melt or cottage pie. You’ll find 20 British and European beers, too!
Don’t forget to save room for dessert! Made-from-scratch ice cream makes Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams scoop shop a must. Flavor names inspired by history, pop culture and art lend whimsy to this buttercream-bodied ice cream. Choices range from adventurous (everything bagel) to classically sweet (brambleberry crisp). Find frozen yogurt, dairy-free and gluten-free options, too, for your sugar, waffle or cake cone.

Where to sit and sip in Dunwoody
Dunwoody’s bars and taprooms are perfect for winding down a night or spending a whole evening.
Ascend to the Perimeter Center skyline and enjoy the celestial ambiance that only a rooftop hangout perched among the stars can offer. Located at the pinnacle of the AC Hotel by Marriott, Bar Peri promises a change of pace from the city’s nearby bustle. Enjoy cocktail accompaniments and small plates — chilled shrimp or a charcuterie board — alongside a drink menu with creations like Spellbound (empress gin, lime, soda, pear) and Tempted Tea (lemonade vodka and sweet tea vodka), along with red and white wines and beer.
So, wherever your palate leads you now, you’ve got a roadmap of Dunwoody’s finest food and drink establishments. Enjoy!
