Rediscover Dunwoody Trolley Tour: Free Tours of Atlanta in 2026
When this program launched in January 2024, the mission was simple: highlight the heart and soul of Dunwoody for hoteliers, visitors, and locals.
What began as three separate routes through Perimeter Center, The Village, and the Jett Ferry or Brook Run area quickly grew into something even more dynamic. By 2025, the tour evolved into a full citywide experience that brought even more excitement, variety, and community connection to every month.
Now, the Rediscover Dunwoody Trolley Tour is gearing up for the new 2026 season.

What Makes This Tour Different
This is far from a typical trolley ride. The Rediscover Dunwoody Trolley Tour is an interactive on-and-off experience packed with energy, samples, stories, and face-to-face moments with the people behind your favorite local spots. At every stop, the trolley doors open and guests head inside businesses for tastings, mini tours, and quick chats with owners and managers. Because the adventure includes walking, comfortable shoes are definitely the way to go.
The tour runs from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. Since we follow a tight schedule to fit in all the fun, the trolley departs right at 1:30 p.m., and we encourage everyone to arrive a little early so you don’t miss the ride.
How the 2026 Routes Work
This year’s tours will continue the four-route rotation that became a guest favorite in 2025. Each route highlights the same Dunwoody districts but features different businesses within those areas. That means every month feels fresh, even if you’ve been on the tour before. And if you join throughout the year, you may even complete all four routes like a true Dunwoody explorer.
As new restaurants, retailers, and attractions open across Perimeter Center, The Village, Georgetown, Dunwoody Village Parkway, and the Brook Run area, they’ll jump into the lineup. Expect bites, sips, behind-the-scenes moments, and plenty of fun surprises from Dunwoody’s local businesses.

The Politan Row food hall offers a global cuisine journey, while Chupitos crafts creative cocktails. For those with a sweet tooth, Crema provides delightful treats to end the experience.
