  • Treetop Quest Dunwoody: Open seasonally, this treetop adventure course is one of Dunwoody’s most unique outdoor attractions—perfect for families, birthdays, and team-building fun.
  • Lemonade Days: Dunwoody’s hometown festival that takes over Brook Run Park every April with five days of rides, food, and fun for the whole family. What started as a small community fundraiser after a 1998 tornado has grown into a local tradition, raising money for the Dunwoody Preservation Trust. With everything from carnival rides and a 5K run to pony rides and live music, it’s the perfect way to kick offspring in Dunwoody.

Nestled in a forested area just off Roberts Drive, the Dunwoody Nature Center is the go-to spot for peaceful trails, nature play, and environmental education.

  • Outdoor Events: Keep an eye on the calendar for story walks, and seasonal celebrations under the trees.

Guests enjoy gourmet bites, signature cocktails, live music, and a lively auction—all while supporting the center’s environmental education and conservation programs. The event has raised over $100,000 in past years, with proceeds funding field trip scholarships and park improvements.

Two Bridges Park is a newer addition to Dunwoody’s Park system and a fast favorite for families, especially with toddlers and young kids.

Highlights

  • Fenced Playground: Located adjacent to the splash pad, it offers shaded benches and secure play.
  • Picnic & Seating Areas: Plenty of shaded spots for snacks and breaks.

Seasonal Programming

  • Splash Pad Season: The splash pad opens during warmer months—typically late spring through early fall—making it a perfect stop on hot days.

Dunwoody has multiple smaller parks that are perfect for low-key playdates, quiet afternoons, or a quick outing with little ones.
