Overview
The home of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United FC, Mercedes-Benz Stadium holds the record for the world's largest video board at 62,350 square feet (5,793 m2), and is one of five stadiums in the NFL with a retractable roof. Since it's opening, the Benz has hosted a number of concerts and sporting events ranging from high school to professional level. In February 2019, Atlanta hosted Super Bowl LIII (53) at the Mercedes Benz Stadium. Super Bowl LIII was expected to bring in over US $400 million to the local economy, which expected over 1 million people during Super Bowl weekend (Feb 1-3, 2019), with game related events, parties, concerts and corporate events happening all around the city.
