SOUTHEAST FESTIVALS AND EVENTS ASSOCIATION HONORS WINNERS AT CONVENTION
DUNWOODY, GA - (March 2, 2011) - The best and brightest were spotlighted at Southeast Festivals and Events Kaleidoscope Awards. Dunwoody Art Festival, produced by Splash Festivals Inc., walked away with the gold medal award for "Best New Event."
Hosted at the Stone Mountain Inn, St. Mountain, Georgia, February 21-23, the ceremony was held in conjunction with the annual Southeast Festivals and Events (SFEA) conference. States included in the competition were Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
"We were so excited to win the big prize," exclaimed Frances Schube, President of Splash Festivals. "My partner, Cindy Flynn, and I truly believed we received this great honor because we had such wonderful volunteers, generous partners, incredibly whimsical artists and great city support." Schube stated that her committee worked extremely hard to make the new show shine so brightly.
