It’s time to party with some green eggs. And we’re not talking about the Seussian kind. We’re talking about Big Green Eggs.The mouthwatering aroma of the savory bites cooking on them – along with beverages from a variety of local breweries and distilleries will be the centerpiece of the second annual Green Eggs & Kegs 2024 taking over The Village Dunwoody’s courtyard and parking lot on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Add a collection of top-notch local restaurants cooking on-site and an afternoon filled with live music, and you’ve got a perfect Saturday afternoon in Dunwoody for foodies.
Discover Dunwoody is proud to support the Green Eggs & Kegs festival as its title sponsor. In addition to enjoying delicious eats and refreshing drinks, festival-goers will be helping an important cause. A portion of ticket proceeds will be donated to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). JDRF's mission is to improve lives today and tomorrow by accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications.
The Green Eggs & Kegs event invites guests to experience “The Best Party in the ‘Burbs.”. More than two dozen donated Big Green Eggs will fuel the 25+ popular local restaurants serving up freshly prepared bites to attendees enjoying the variety of tasting stations. Guests who attended the 2023 event can expect a larger footprint this year with expanded use of the parking lot, along with more live music.
"Last year's event sold out! Due to the enormous success, we are telling everyone to get their tickets quickly. We've added more restaurants, bigger sponsors, and a third live band. The goal is to spread awareness about the Dunwoody area's local businesses and support each other as one, strong community. It will definitely be an afternoon to remember, " says David Abes, owner of Dash Hospitality Group and The Village Dunwoody.
No festival is complete without live music, and The Village Dunwoody courtyard’s stage is the perfect place for it. The soundtrack of the outdoor event will feature performances from headliner Family Truckster and Sucker Punch!
A VIP ticket option includes early admission to the festival at 12pm along with a sponsored VIP hour of complimentary beer and spirits that will be offered at both Bar{n} booze & bites and Morty's Meat Supply thanks to Eagle Rock and United Distributors. VIP guests will also snag a commemorative t-shirt and have access to a private lounge and restrooms. General admission ticket holders will enjoy unlimited food and beverage from 1pm until the festival closes at 5pm.
Beyond the Green Eggs & Kegs event, locals and visitors should plan to experience fun food and beverage regularly at The Village Dunwoody’s collection of restaurants.
